Ham radio firmware roundup, week 36 2026: Icom ID-RP2010V 1.22, Icom ID-52A 1.27, Icom ID-52A PLUS 1.13

The week in short

Two releases carry a date stamp from inside the covered week — Icom's IC-7300MK2 and Yaesu's FTX-1 Series. Everything else in this roundup comes from the 104 rigs, amplifiers, tuners, SDRs and handhelds we started tracking across 13 manufacturers between 31 August and 6 September 2026, each arriving with its recorded firmware history attached.

Every version listed here was published by the manufacturer on its own site. The data we hold covers version numbers and dates only, so we won't guess at what any release changes — the release notes live on each product's page on updatemystuff.com.

Notable updates

  • Icom IC-7300MK2 — 1.03 (4 September 2026). The one release dated squarely inside the week, and a point release by the look of the numbering. This is also the first firmware we have on file for the MK2.
  • Yaesu FTX-1 Series — 1.12 (1 September 2026). Another maintenance-style point release, and the newest Yaesu firmware in the whole batch by some margin.

Everything else

Newly tracked products and the versions recorded for each. Where a product has more than one version on file, the newest is called out first.
