What you may do

• Link to any page — deep links to products and firmware pages are welcome.
• Subscribe to our RSS/Atom feeds for personal, non-commercial reading.
• Search engines are welcome to crawl and index the public pages.

What you may not do

The updatemystuff.com catalog — the structured collection of products, firmware versions, release dates, release histories and release notes — is a database assembled and maintained with substantial investment. It is protected by the sui generis database right under Directive 96/9/EC and by the Swedish catalogue protection in 48 a § / 49 § of the Swedish Copyright Act (upphovsrättslagen).

• You may not extract or re-utilise the whole database or any substantial part of it — by scraping, crawling, bulk downloading, or repeated systematic extraction of insubstantial parts.
• You may not republish the catalog, or substantial parts of it, on another site or in another product, commercial or not.
• You may not use the content for training machine-learning models without written permission.

Automated access beyond the published feeds is rate-limited and abusive crawlers are blocked. Our pages carry provenance markers that let us identify copied content.

Licensing

If you would like bulk or API access to the catalog for a legitimate purpose, get in touch — we're open to reasonable arrangements.

No warranty

Firmware information is collected from manufacturers' official pages with care, but is provided "as is" without warranty. Always verify against the manufacturer's own page (every release links to it) before updating your equipment. updatemystuff.com never hosts firmware files.
