Camera firmware roundup, week 40 2026: Zoom H5studio 1.20
The week in short
- Just over 40 firmware entries across 11 vendors for 28 September to 4 October.
- No new products added to the tracker, and nothing withdrawn.
- The volume came from batch releases: Sirui pushed twelve lens updates in a single day, Teradek shipped one build across five Prism devices, and Blackmagic touched five products.
- A handful of entries carry dates outside the window (Teradek on 24 September, 7Artisans on 27 September, some older Zoom versions) — those surfaced in the tracker this week rather than being released in it.
Notable updates
Fujifilm X half 2.00 — released 30 September. A jump to a round 2.00 on a camera this quirky is the one I'd actually go read the release notes for before flashing; Fujifilm tends to save whole-number bumps for something more than housekeeping, though the tracker itself doesn't tell us what's inside.
Sirui, twelve lenses in one go — all dated 30 September, spanning three families:
- Astra T1.8 cine primes: 50mm, 75mm, 100mm in both E-mount (1.1.1 / 1.1.3 / 1.0.9) and Z-mount (1.0.4 / 1.0.3 / 1.0.4)
- Aurora 35mm F1.4 Z-mount at 1.0.7
- Sniper F1.2 X-mount set: 16mm (1.0.2), 23mm, 33mm, 56mm (all 1.0.7), 75mm (1.0.5)
Worth noting the same focal length sits on different versions depending on mount, so check your specific copy rather than assuming the set moves together.
Blackmagic Design's Resolve 21.1.1 trio — DaVinci Resolve, Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio all landed on 21.1.1 on 2 October. If you round-trip between Resolve and Fusion Studio, keeping both on the same point release saves you a class of problem you'd rather not debug mid-grade. Earlier in the week, Cloud Store moved to 2.1 and Audio Monitor to 4.0.4, both on 28 September.
Aputure STORM line — 1200x to 1.7 on 28 September, then 400x to 1.8 and 700x to 1.3 on 29 September. Three fixtures in two days suggests a coordinated pass across the series, handy if you run mixed STORM units on the same job.
Teradek Prism family — build 2.25.20260924 across Prism Rack v1 (853/873), Rack v2 (877), Flex, Mobile and Jetpack. One shared build for the whole fleet is the easy kind of update day: flash everything, keep it consistent.
Fringer adapters — four in two days. Canon EF to Fujifilm X hit 3.10 (29 September), while Canon EF to Nikon Z (2.40), Canon EF to Fujifilm GFX (2.30) and Nikon F to Fujifilm GFX (1.60) all arrived on 28 September. Adapter firmware is where lens compatibility lives, so these are usually worth staying current on.
Everything else
- Sennheiser Profile Wireless — 5.1.0, 2 October
- Zoom H6studio — 1.60 on 1 October, plus 1.10 and an older 1.20 appearing in the tracker
- Zoom H5studio — 1.70 on 1 October, with 1.02, 1.10 and 1.20 also logged
- Insta360 X6 — 1.2.35, 29 September
- TASCAM CD-400U — 1.66 on 29 September and 1.37 on 28 September; the version ordering looks like two separate firmware lines for the unit, so match the file to your hardware revision before flashing
- 7Artisans LITE AF 25mm F1.8 — 2026.09.27, using a date-style version rather than a number
Nothing dramatic hiding in this group, but the Zoom entries are a good reminder that a newer date in a changelog doesn't always mean a newer version.
