Camera firmware roundup, week 39 2026: Insta360 Wave (For Business) 1.0.4.6

The week in short

Twenty firmware entries crossed the tracker for 21–27 September, with lighting and wireless video doing most of the heavy lifting. Aputure pushed four fixtures on a single day, Teradek lined up three transmitter families on one version number, and Insta360 kept rebuilding the Luna Ultra at a pace that's hard to ignore. Five Leica bodies also joined the tracker, though none of them with firmware dated inside the week.

Notable updates

Insta360 Luna Ultra — 1.1.8, 1.1.12, 1.1.15 Three builds in four days (20, 22 and 23 September). No changelog detail came through with them, so there's nothing to read into the content, but that kind of cadence usually means something's being chased down. If you own one, jumping straight to 1.1.15 saves you the intermediate hops.

Teradek Ace 750, Bolt 4K, Bolt 6 — 4.5.0 (22 September) All three on the same version, same day. Handy if you mix Bolt and Ace gear on one job, since matching firmware across a wireless video setup is one less variable when something refuses to pair.

Aputure NOVA II 1x1 and 2x1, STORM XT52, STORM CS32 (22 September) A four-fixture drop: NOVA II 2x1 to 1.5, STORM XT52 to 1.9, STORM CS32 to 1.3, NOVA II 1x1 to 1.3. Worth doing in one bench session rather than one light at a time.

Blackmagic Ethernet Switch — 2.0 (24 September) A whole-number jump, which for Blackmagic usually isn't a quiet one. No detail in our data on what changed, so read the release notes before you reflash something sitting in the middle of your network.
