   • AUTO MIXER function has been added. For details, see "17-1. FR-AV4 V1.10 overview" in the Owner's Manual.

   < Maintenance items >

   • The specification has been changed so that the battery icon turns off when the unit is pow​ered by USB and no AA batteries are installed.
   • When set to 32-bit float, the track level meters did not display values exceeding 0 dB. This has been fixed.
   • When MS DECODE was on,​ the M/S balance was incorrect. This has been fixed.
   • Operation stability has been improved in other ways.

   • The TASCAM FR-AV4 has been added as a supported device.

   UPDATER: TASCAM Update Manager V1.01 for Windows < Maintenance items >

   • In Windows 11, when connecting to a supported product, eight instances of the same product would appear, preventing the update from running. This has been fixed.

   • Display misalignment would occur when timecodes for 5 devices were shown​ simultaneously on the app screen.

   This has been improved.

   • The stop button behavior has been updated.

   During playback, a short pr​ess (tap) stops playback. For recording, the stop operation can now be set to either "long press" or "short press" on the APP SETTINGS Screen.

   • The FR-AV4 would not exit playback mode when playback was ​stopped from the TASCAM RECORDER CONNECT app Home Screen. This has been fixed.
   • For channels with CH ENABLE turned off, REC ENABLE could not be turned on using the TASCAM RECORDER CONNECT app. This has been fixed.
   • Operation stability has been improved in other ways.

   V1.2.1 Android only (October, 6 2025) < Maintenance items >​

   • When the device with Android app V1.2.0 entered a sleep or background state, the following errors would occur on the FR-AV2. This has been fixed.
   • ATOMOS timecode connection temporarily interrupted
   • Remote audio disconnected

   NOTE: Updating both the app and FR-AV2 unit is necessary to fix this issue.
