< New functions >
- The “LINK LOSS DETECT” function has been added to improve connection stability in systems that use the Telnet protocol.
This function detects disconnected network cables or lost communication links and automatically releases the connections to the affected external controllers.
[ NOTE ]
- Ping responses are used for detection.
- Depending on the firewall settings of the external controller, it may not accept pings and interpret this as a network disconnection, causing the Telnet connection to be terminated.
- In this case, either turn off the LINK LOSS DETECT function or enable ICMP Echo Request in the firewall settings.
- For detailed information on the functions and how to set them up, please refer to "Owner's Manual Addendum V2.17".
