The FR-AV4 would not exit playback mode when playback was stopped from the TASCAM RECORDER CONNECT app Home Screen. This has been fixed.
For channels with CH ENABLE turned off, REC ENABLE could not be turned on using the TASCAM RECORDER CONNECT app. This has been fixed.
Operation stability has been improved in other ways.

V1.2.1 Android only (October, 6 2025) < Maintenance items >

When the device with Android app V1.2.0 entered a sleep or background state, the following errors would occur on the FR-AV2. This has been fixed.
ATOMOS timecode connection temporarily interrupted
Remote audio disconnected

NOTE: Updating both the app and FR-AV2 unit is necessary to fix this issue.
