TASCAM and Zoom show up with decades of firmware history, plus fresh glass from Leica and DJI
The week in short
- Two audio heavyweights, TASCAM and Zoom, joined the tracker this week with their full firmware archives, going back as far as 2009 for some Zoom recorders
- Leica pushed a coordinated update across most of its SL and Q lineup, alongside two brand new SL zoom lenses
- DJI stayed busy on the drone and pocket-cam side, and Nikon quietly refreshed three cameras spanning three generations
- New product listings from DJI, Leica, Zoom, Godox, Nanlite, Nanlux and SG-image, several with day-one firmware already attached
Notable updates
Nikon's three-camera Tuesday — Z50II (1.11), D780 (1.21) and D6 (1.71) all got updates on the same day. No changelog details in our data, but it's a rare moment where a current mirrorless body and two long-serving DSLRs get attention together.
Leica's SL/Q sweep — SL2, SL2-S (6.3.0), SL3-P (4.2.2), Q3, Q3 43, Q3 Monochrom (4.1.1), D-Lux 8 (1.9.0) and SOFORT 2 (1.2.1) all show updated firmware this week, alongside the two new SL zooms (70-200mm and 28-70mm f/2.8) launching with 1.1.0 already on board.
DJI's drone and pocket-cam corner — Inspire 3 (01.00.09.00) and its RC controller (01.03.2500) updated the same day, and Osmo Pocket 4 picked up 01.03.10.05. The DJI Mic Mini 2S also arrives as a new product with 30.00.03.00 already installed.
Post house tools — Blackmagic's DaVinci Resolve, Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio all moved to 21.0.4 together, and Blackmagic Converters got 12.3. AJA's HELO Plus Software bumped to 2.1.6.
Lighting gear catching up — Godox GM6S Pro (0.0.84) and GM55 (0.0.10), Nanlite PavoTube II 6XR (1.04.01), and Nanlux Matrix, which shows two firmware versions landing the same day (1.02.01 and 1.03.03).
Everything else
