Yaesu FT5DR firmware v1.21

FT5DR/FT5DE Firmware Update Information Refer to the Firmware Update Instruction Manual in each ZIP file. The latest versions are listed below with the release dates.

• MAIN Firmware Version 1.21 (11/17/25)
• SUB Firmware Version 1.10 (11/17/25) Currently we have two different destination versions of the FT5DR/FT5DE: USA (DST: USA/AUS), EXP (DST: EU/EXP).
• The firmware version for Japan is different from USA/AUS and EXP versions. Please check the latest firmware of the Japanese version on the Japan WEB site: http://www.yaesu.com/jp/amateur_index/product/ft5d/firmware.html Please open the Update Instruction Manual FT5DR/DE MAIN/SUB Update Instruction Manual (2409-E) and review the information ​before starting the update firmware.

CAUTION

Please be sure to confirm the model and the version of your transceiver before starting the update. Writing incorrect firmware to the transceiver may cause abnormal operation or failure. Updates: MAIN Version 1.21 / SUB Version 1.10 (for web release) (November 2025)

• Added FTM-510D/FTM-310D/FTX-1 to APRS model detection.

If ​you already have Main v1.21 / SUB Ver 1.10 firmware versions, it is not necessary to update the FT5DR/FT5DE again.
