    • The Settings Panel has been altered to make it easier to use.

    Making s​ettings according to applications by just pressing a button is now possible. In addition, custom settings can now be saved and used. (Windows version)

    • A new software/firmware notification function has been added.

    When a new version is available, updating to it is possible by just clicking, "Up​date now" in a pop-up menu.

    • A link to the TASCAM website has been added to the Help menu.

    • <Mic Monitor> checkbox has been added ​to the Mixer panel.

    If this check is removed, sounds from mics input through IN 1 and IN 2 will not be sent to the headphone output. These input sounds will be mixed with the <PC Audio Out> signal and looped back to the computer.

    • In order to provide compatibility with major communication applications in China, the Windows Playback/Recording devices have been extended.

    Usually, you can set "Mixing Driver 1 for US-2x2 & US-4x4" ​as the "Default Device" without a problem. If you do not want "Mixing Driver 2 for US-2x2 & US-4x4" to appear, right-click it, select "Disabled" from the menu that appears, and remove the check next to "Show Disabled Devices".

    (When you change the "Sample Rate" item on the Software ​Mixer panel, this is reflected by the sample rate in the Windows Sound settings.)
