v1.70 is not the latest firmware for the Fringer Canon EF to Nikon Z: the current version is v2.40 (September 28, 2026). Go to v2.40

What's in this update

  1. For some external focusing lense​s, a function is added so that the external focusing elements will move back automatically when powering off the camera. The following lenses are supported:
  2. EF85/1.2L II
  3. EF50/1.8STM
  4. EF40/2.8STM
  5. EF24/2.8STM
  6. SIGMA70/2.8ART
  7. When using lenses with IS, powering off the camera is faster now.
  8. Fixed compatibility issu​es with the following lenses:
  9. Samyang XP 50mm f/1.2
  10. Samyang XP 85mm f/1.2
  11. LAOWA 105mm f/2 STF
