The week in short

Thursday, August 27 did most of the heavy lifting. Sigma pushed firmware to eleven separate items in one go — stills lenses across three mounts, both MC-11 mount converters, and two of the EF-mount cine primes — while TASCAM updated the whole Sonicview line the same day. Around that, a steady trickle: Blackmagic, Insta360, Nanlux, Viltrox, 7Artisans and Neewer.

Eight products also joined the tracker for the first time, mostly Sigma glass.

The MC-11 updates are the interesting outlier here — that adapter has been around a long while, so it's nice to see it still getting attention.

TASCAM Sonicview → 2.3.4 (August 27) Both the 16XP/16dp and the 24XP/24dp got the same version on the same day, so this looks like a platform-wide release rather than a model-specific fix.

Blackmagic Desktop Video 16.4 (August 24) The usual anchor point for anyone running DeckLink or UltraStudio hardware. Worth noting because Desktop Video versions tend to be tied to what DaVinci Resolve expects.

Insta360 X6 → 1.1.7 (August 24) Still early in the X6's firmware life, so updates are landing at a decent clip.
