Camera firmware roundup, week 34 2026: Insta360 X6 1.1.5, AJA Video Systems BRIDGE LIVE Software 1.20.3, Canon EOS C400 1.0.7.1

The week in short

• Sound Devices pushed 8.40 to the entire Astral family on the same day — eight products, one version number.
• Skydio X10 and X10D joined the tracker, dragging in years of release-note history going back to January 2024.
• Blackmagic had a two-for: ATEM Switchers 10.4 and Ethernet Switch 1.2.
• New arrivals: four GoPro products (with archive firmware attached), Skydio's two release-note feeds, and the Sound Devices Astral Mini Plus.
• Nothing was withdrawn this week.

Notable updates

Sound Devices Astral — 8.40 (August 18) ARX2, ARX8, ARX16, ARX32, Astral HH, Astral Mini, Astral Mini Plus and Astral TX all moved to 8.40 on the same date. If you run a mixed Astral bag, this is the rare case where you can flash everything to matching firmware in one sitting. The 8.30.03 builds from March also landed in the tracker, so the version history is now filled in.

Skydio X10 / X10D — now tracked Both release-note feeds are in, with the X10 currently at 46.122.39 (July 16) and the X10D at 46.46.53 (July 15). Everything behind that is backfill — roughly 40 X10 entries and 18 X10D entries stretching back to 31.x builds in early 2024. Handy if you've ever needed to work out which build a fleet drone is actually on.

Blackmagic Design — ATEM Switchers 10.4 (August 20), Ethernet Switch 1.2 (August 17) The ATEM release bookended the week alongside a smaller Ethernet Switch bump earlier on.

Nikon — Z5II 1.20 and COOLPIX P1000 1.9 (August 18) Two bodies on the same day, including a point release for the P1000, which doesn't get touched all that often.

Canon cine lineup — batch update (dated July 22, surfaced this week) EOS R5 C (1.1.3.1), C50 (1.0.5.1), C70 (1.1.4.1), C80 (1.0.7.1) and C400 (1.0.7.1) all share a release date, so this looks like a coordinated pass across the range.
