   Note: When update the Settings Panel to Ver2.1 from the automatic update function in Mac OS environment, the driver may appear in different name as​ "US-16x08" (US-16x08.pkg), but it is compatible with your device.

   -A True Bypass function has been added.

   The input and output are now matched binary when bypassing the Mixer signal processing section. -"OFF" can now be selected as input routing from Computer​ Out to Stereo Bus. -In mic pre mode, "Digital Inputs" can now be selected as an input source, allowing use as a DA converter.

   Input from Optical, Coaxial and other digital connectors can be output from the analog jacks. -As an emergency function, the clock source can now be changed through hardware operation.

   -Operation stability has been improved.

   -A new software/firmware notification func​tion has been added.

   When a new version is available, updating to it is possible by just clicking, "Update now" in a pop-up menu. -Simultaneous playback of ASIO and WDM is now possible by selecting the "US-20x20 Mixing Driver". -Depending on the co​mputer operating conditions, latency might be lower when the old driver is selected, but simultaneous playback with WDM will not be possible. -A link to the TASCAM website has been added to the Help menu.

   Firmware -When using an external digital clock, that Sample Clock So​urce setting is now maintained even if the clock becomes temporarily unavailable.

   Mac Software -Latest version includes a ​bug fix for OS X Mountain Lion(10.8.5) users where the settings panel failed to launch.
