v1.14 is not the latest firmware for the TASCAM CD-500: the current version is v1.31. Go to v1.31

What's in this update

If you pressed the CALL button during single playback mode, the unit would exit single playback mode. This has been fixed.
When using media with MP3 or WAV files, the number of files would not be shown correctly or the playback order would be wrong in some cases. This has been fixed.
When program playback and repeat modes were both active, pressing the PAUSE button when stopped to pause playback and then starting playback would cause playback to start from the last track in the program. This has been fixed.
When searching by index, a long time would pass before searching would complete in some cases. This has been fixed.
