   Following bugs are fixed:

   • In VFR (Variable Frame Rate) shooting m​ode, there were cases where the image stabilization did not operate when non-Panasonic interchan​geable lens is used. This bug has been fixed.

   Following bugs​ are fixed:

   • When the camera is used with the Battery Grip, an error message pops up if the remaining power of the battery in the Battery Grip is low.
   • With a use of Panasonic H-RS100400(LEICA ​DG VARIO-ELMAR 100-400mm / F4.0-6.3 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S.) or some Olympus interchangeable lenses, the monitor blacks out when the user tries consecutive shooting in manual mode in AFC setting.

   [Post Focus] is added.

   This function enables users to set the focus point after shooting and save as a separate photo.

   Three 4K PHOTO modes: [4K Burst] [4K Burst Start/Stop] [4K Pre-Burst] are added to help users capture the unmissable moments and users can choose a best shot with easy, intuitive touch-control operation after shoot​ing.

   External flash can be used in burst shooting.

   • DMW-FL580L, DMW-FL360L only. Free 100GB storage on Google Drive is offered to LUMIX GH4 users (2 years)*. It can be used for photo/video data saving and accessed through multiple devices such as camera, PC, smartphone/tablet.
   • Users need to register to LUMIX CLUB to get the ID in advance and activate the account service by 30 September 2016. [AF-ON] function can be uesd during video recording. The accuracy of digital red eye correction in the RAW development is improved. The time lag of​ stop signal transmission through HDMI is adjusted to make the length of the recorded contents same either on the SD Memory Card or on the external recorder via HDMI.    "Activation function" is added in the menu which enables the camera to compl​y with "V-Log L" function by using Upgrade Software Key "DMW-SFU1".

   • Follow the Installation Guide bundled in the Upgrade Software key "DMW-SFU1". About extended function of V-Log L for DMC-GH4. Recor​ding can be paused or stopped with a press of Fn1 button in [Time Lapse Shot] despite the length of shooting interval. Go to the firmware update service notice page.

   [Anamorphic(4:3)] mode is available which op​timizes the settings for 3328x2496 video recording with a 4:3 anamorphic lens.

   • To convert the footage to a cinemascope aspect for playback, corresponding software and device are required. 1/16000 sec shutter speed can be selected manually when using [Electronic Shutter].    Time code can be embedded to the HDMI output signal.

   • Selectable in Motion Picture menu : [Time Cod​e]>[HDMI Time Code Output] * Available when DMC-GH4 or DMW-YAGH are connected with the products of ATOMOS Global Pty. Ltd. or the products complying with the extended specifications of ATOMOS Global Pty. Ltd.. RSS (Recording Start/Stop) signal can be embedded to the HDMI output signal.
   • Selectable in Motion Picture menu : [HDMI Rec Output]>[HDMI Recording Control] * Available when DMC-GH4 or DMW-YAGH are connected with the products of ATOMOS Global Pty. Ltd. or the products complying with the extended specifications of ATOMOS Global Pty. Ltd.. FHD at 30p/25p native output via HDMI is available while recording video in FHD at 30p/25p.
   • Selectable in Motion Picture menu : ​[HDMI Rec Output]>[1080/30p Set.] or [1080/25p Set.] Playback performance of recorded 4K video is improved.    [4K PHOTO] mode is added which records 4K video exclusively for capturing a frame to save as a photo.

   Settings can be adjusted as below when entering this mode. -Rec Format : MP4 -Rec Quality : 4K/30p/100Mbps (System Frequency 59.94Hz) 4K/25p/100Mbps (System Frequency 50.00Hz) -Luminance Level:0-255 In addition to 16:9 aspect, 4:3/3:2/1:1 can be selected.

   Exif information is embedded to the c​aptured image from the 4K video.

   Marking function is available enables marker setting on the designated point while recording video and users can jump to the markers when playing back the video to capture the frame they want.

   Loop Recording function is added, with which the camera keeps on recording video while deleting the old footage automatically. 4K/23.98p/100Mbps mode is added in MP4 video recording.

   The upper limit of the ISO sensitivity can be set in the menu of I​SO sensitivity setting and emission amount of flash light can be adjusted in the menu of exposure compensation.

   Focusing performance of 1-area AF in video recording is improved.

   Tracking performance of tracking AF when used with the interchangeable lens H-FS14140 is improved.

   Remote shooting via USB tethering is available by using PC software "USB Tether" supplied by Promote Systems.
