   • This service supplies software that can be used to update the firmware for the FTZ mount adapter to version 1.10. Before proceeding, select Firmware version in the​ camera SETUP MENU and check the current mount adapter (MA) firmware version. You will not need to download or install this update if the firmware listed above is already installed.
   • This firmware update is performed with an FTZ mount adapter attached to a camera. See “Compatible Cameras” for a list of compatible cameras.
   • To perform the update, you will need the memory card used in the camera and a compatible card r​eader.
   • Updates can be performed for you by a Nikon-authorized service representative.
