Canon EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM firmware v2.0.0

Changes in firmware: The new firmware incorporates the following enhan​cement: Support for the "Dual Sensing IS" function with the EOS M50 has been added.

This firmware update is for lenses equipped with older firmware versions.

If the lens firmware is already the latest version (EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM: Version 2.0.0), it is not necessary to update the firmware.

The version of the lens firmware can be checked on the camera menu.

Preparations for the firmware updat​e: In the folder you downloaded are the firmware (for EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM: EF013200.lfu / file size: 1,441,844 bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese).
