BTECH GMRS-50PRO firmware v0.8.4

New Added VOX support for Bluetooth headsets, enabling hands-free transmission with compatible devices.

New option allows Bluetooth headsets to be used for PTT while routing audio through the radio speaker (configurable in Sound Settings).

Onboard Menu Updates Added “Scan Pause” feature: scanning now pauses when a signal is detected, allowing manual resume.

• Improved stability with third-party Bluetooth accessories.
• VOX configuration options added to menu for easier setup.

Introduced “Channel Save” function to store active channels during scanning.

Resolved audio relay issue ⸻ Important Notice for Users Updating to This Firmware: The GMRS-50PRO firmware update includes a display controller upgrade.

After installation, some users may see a white or black screen upon reboot.

If this occurs: Disconnect power from the radio. → Press and hold the Menu button (the top left white button). → While holding the Menu button, reconnect power and turn the radio on (after releasing the reset will take about 1 minute).

This will reflash the display firmware and restore normal operation.

Audio Relay settings are now directly accessible from the radio menu.
