What's in this update
This software update adds support for hardware accelerated decoding of H.264 10-bit formats on Macs running Apple M1 processors, improves reliability when restoring older database backups as well as adding better audio performance in various playback scenarios.
Additionally, this update adds support for Blackmagic RAW clips recorded by Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR from Panasonic Lumix S1H cameras, improves functionality for Resolve FX blanking fill, improves scripting API, and formats metadata more accurately when rendering DNxHR clips.
Technical support for the free version of DaVinci Resolve 17 is only available via the Blackmagic Design community forums.
